Blue screen at work (2007-2008)

I had to stop taking photos because after October 2008 every blue screen followed by auto restart. So there is not enough time to take a picture. Sometimes it’s even worth - no blue screen at all, just quick restart, especially when rendering is about to finish :)

Why Work Sucks And How To Fix It
A year and a half ago, I wrote a cover story about a radical workplace experiment roiling Best Buy’s headquarters in Minneapolis. Two guerrila HR types had secretly started a stealth mission to free Best Buyers from what many at the company referred to as “butt-in-chair” syndrome.
The two HR bomb throwers argued that employees should be measured on output, not hours. And that the face-time culture was utterly out of place in the digital age. Their ultimate underground project—one in which you never had to darken the doors of the workplace if you didn’t want to—radically changed the culture at Best Buy.
Shortly after the story, the nouveau thinking, HR duo—Cali Ressler and Jody Thompson—began writing a book about their excellent adventures. Comes now the book, Why Work Sucks And How To Fix It. This was one of my all-time favorite stories to report. And the book is a must for anyone serious about a cultural makeover and update.
The blogosphere is already awash in buzz. The book is officially out today. Watch for these two Un-HR HR gurus on Good Morning America tomorrow morning.
